This Friday, the 7th August, we'll be having one of our 'Tennis & Social' evenings. So, come along and play a bit of tennis at Club night and stay around to enjoy some Mexican food.  So, if you'd like to come along (you can do this without playing tennis first!), just let Lesley Dodds know by Thurs 6th Aug
 
Tickets are £7.50 each and food will be around 8:30ish.

The Datchworth League matches started last Monday although the majority of the teams' games were abandoned due to the heavy rain.  Tonight was better weather so we're expecting some results to be made available.  Keep track of the teams here

Dellcott awarded Lottery funding (Added  12/04/2009)

In these rather gloomy economic times I am happy to report an exciting financial event affecting our club. Our application for lottery funding has been successful and we have been awarded £10,000 from Sport England to renovate court 3.

This is largely down to the persistence of John Wilson, our maintenance officer who pulled together and submitted the proposal over the winter. You may remember we received financial support last year from Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council which helped with the resurfacing of Courts 1 and 2.

This latest grant will enable us to resolve the flooding problems we have encountered for many years on court 3.
